Richard Fryer (aka Richard Penguin) has over 20 years experience as a music journalist and promoter. A regular contributer to the 'Eastern Evening News' in the 1980's he moved on to writing articles for 'Big City, Bright Lights' and 'Oscar' magazines in the 1990's and the 'Eastern Daily Press' and 'Triangle Magazine' in the 2000's.
Recently he ran his own radio shows on both 'Livewire' and 'Future Radio'. He has also played in and managed bands and ran a successful club putting on live music. After writing for 3 years for a press agency he gained a 2.1 in Politics and Media as a mature student at the University of East Anglia.
After spending a year as a fundraiser for a charity he recently became the press agent for leading folk musician Karen Tweed and renowned loop guitarist Andy Butler.
